There are many people talking about climate change, but conversations and confrontations alone have never changed anything. We need to move beyond discussions and take action. Last month, the prime minister reportedly approved the planting of 41.7 million trees under the Spring Tree Plantation Drive, which is a step in the right direction.
We must actively contribute to the plantation process. With a population of around 247 million people, this should not be a difficult task. I urge the citizens of Pakistan, across the country, to actively contribute to the tree plantation campaign. This collective effort will help mitigate the climate crisis in our country.
