India to get befitting response if it conducts false-flag operation: AJK PM
MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq on Thursday warned India of committing any misadventure, saying India will get befitting response from Pakistan if it undertakes any false-flag operation.
Addressing the Legislative Assembly, the AJK PM said that if India commits aggression on the Line of Control, the UN Charter gives Pakistan the right to defend. “India would be paid back in the same coin if it tried to commit aggression,” PM Haq said, adding that the entire Kashmiri nation stands shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan’s armed forces.
Referring to India’s nefarious designs in the region, the AJK premier cautioned that India may go for covert attack inside Azad Kashmir or use a third force to spread unrest in the region. He said that the national security meeting has decided that in case of any misadventure, India will be given befitting response.
The AJK PM further said that the world was aware of India’s transnational terrorist activities. “From Canada to Kashmir, India is adopting terrorism as a state policy,” he added.
He said that some ignorant friends fail to distinguish between a friend and foe. “This is the time for them to identify who are our real defenders and protectors and who is the occupying force?,” he questioned. “The democratic freedoms that we enjoy here in Azad Kashmir are not available to the people of occupied Kashmir who are reeling under India’s relentless repression,” the AJK PM said.
Expressing solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), he said that the people and government of Azad Kashmir stand in solidarity with the brothers and sisters of the occupied Kashmir. “A strong and bright Pakistan is the guarantor for the success of Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom movement,” he said, adding that it was our religious and national duty to stand side by side with Pakistan.
The AJK PM highlighted that the Indian water aggression has been going on for a year. “It is time for us all to show complete solidarity at this crucial point of time,” he said, adding that India has started taking steps to stop the waters of Poonch and Neelum rivers.
