The murder of a car dealer in the Steel Town area of Karachi by armed robbers last week led to protests. The National Highway was reportedly blocked for several hours. Karachi is, sadly, no stranger to such tragedies. Innocent and hardworking people are being targeted again and again. It is time for the authorities to take serious action. Regular police patrolling, installing CCTV cameras at key locations and quick response teams can help stop such crimes. The people of Karachi deserve safety and justice. I hope the concerned departments will act before more lives are lost.
