Pregnant woman shot dead for pursuing murder case of her husband

FAISALABAD: A pregnant woman was shot dead for following the murder case of her husband near Bawa Chak.

According to the police, Aqsa Bibi’s husband had been killed by the accused group several months ago. She was eight and a half months pregnant and was actively following the murder case of her husband. On Saturday night, she was returning home from a hospital with her brother-in-law when Rizwan Rasheed alias Jani and his accomplices intercepted them. The attackers dragged Aqsa Bibi off the motorcycle and shot her multiple times, killing her and her unborn child on the spot. Police have registered a case against six suspects.
