Flower show held at Rose & Jasmine Garden
Islamabad : The three-day 44th annual spring flower show was organised at the Islamabad Rose and Jasmine Garden in collaboration with the National Horticultural Society of Pakistan (NHSP) and the Capital Development Authority (CDA), which was inaugurated by DG Environment Nazia Abrar Khan and Member Environment Talat Gondal, while Vice Chairperson National Horticultural Society of Pakistan Asma Butt was a special guest, says a press release.
Chairman National Horticultural Society Dr. Pervaiz Ahsan, Technical Secretary Asif Razzaq, Dr. Omar, and others were also present on the occasion. A large number of people had come to the park to see the colourful varieties of flowers on the occasion of summer.
They highly appreciated the efforts of the National Horticultural Society and CDA. DG Environment Nazia Abrar Khan and Member Environment Talat Gondal said that flowers are the beauty of nature, whose colour and fragrance have made the entire environment more beautiful. It has always been our endeavour to keep the public’s taste in mind. All kinds of flowers were displayed in the exhibition according to the season, and the effort was successful.
The flower exhibition was the centre of attention of the public. On this occasion, Asma Butt said that the National Horticultural Society of Pakistan, maintaining the tradition of every year, organized the best flower exhibition. This exhibition will last for three days, colourful and fragrant flowers were the centre of attention of everyone. We are very grateful for the cooperation of the Capital Development Authority.
