Intra-party elections: Shujaat elected PMLQ president
Shafay was elected as GS of Pakistan Muslim League Punjab and Malik Samin Khan elected as President
ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was elected as President Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PMLQ) while Chaudhry Salik Hussain Senior Vice President and Tariq Hassan Secretary General. Chaudhry Shafay Hussain was elected as General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League Punjab.
The meeting of the Central and Provincial General Council was held at the Muslim League House, Islamabad, which was chaired by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Shafay Hussain was elected as the General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League Punjab and Malik Samin Khan was elected as the President.
The members of the General Council approved the appointment of Dr. Muhammad Amjad as the Chief Organizer of the party, while Mustafa Malik was appointed as the Central Secretary Information of the party.
In the meeting, a resolution regarding amendments to the party’s constitution was also passed.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Saturday congratulated Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on getting elected as President of PMLQ and other office bearers.
