MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police on Wednesday distributed Rs 1.2 million cheques among police personnel under the welfare scheme in Torghar.
District Police Officer Syed Mukhtar Shah handed over the cheques to 13 police personnel to support them in their daughters’ weddings and educational scholarships.He said that the funds were approved by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed to assist deserving officers.
