The improper use of loudspeakers has become a normal routine in some schools in Abbottabad. At closing time, the names of school children are shouted on loudspeakers at such a high volume that people in the surrounding localities cannot even talk to each other or study or pray.
It amounts to pure noise pollution. The concerned authorities must look into this matter and ensure that all regulations on the use of loudspeakers are being followed.
