Islamabad:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has taken personal charge of security arrangements in the federal capital during Ramadan, ensuring that citizens feel safe and protected while observing religious practices.

According to a police spokesperson, IGP Rizvi is personally supervising security protocols at mosques, Imam Bargahs, and key public places during Fajr, Iftar, and Taraweeh prayers. Additionally, he is conducting daily high-level meetings with senior officers to assess crime prevention strategies and implement stronger public safety measures. To maintain law and order and prevent untoward incidents, more than 4,000 police personnel have been deployed across Islamabad, ensuring a peaceful environment for worshippers and citizens throughout the holy month.

In a citizen-friendly initiative, IGP Rizvi has been holding open courts (Khuli Kachehri) at the Central Police Office to directly address public grievances. During these sessions, he is issuing on-the-spot directives to senior police officials, ensuring that complaints are resolved promptly. Furthermore, recognizing the economic challenges faced by citizens, the IGP has personally visited Sasta Bazaars to inspect security measures, monitor price lists, and ensure smooth traffic flow in these bustling marketplaces.
