Islamabad:The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Academy, in collaboration with the British High Commission, here, has successfully completed an intensive Forensic Awareness Course aimed at equipping law enforcement personnel with advanced forensic investigation skills.

The training, which took place from February 11 to 20, was structured into four batches, each undergoing a rigorous two-day training program. A total of 60 FIA officers and officials participated, representing various ranks, including assistant directors, inspectors, sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, and head constables.

The course was meticulously designed to enhance forensic capabilities, focusing on the collection, preservation, and analysis of forensic evidence from crime scenes. Expert instructors from the British High Commission led the training, providing participants with hands-on practical exercises, real-world case studies, and immersive forensic techniques.

The closing ceremony, held at the FIA Academy on February 20, 2025, was graced by Deputy High Commissioner of the British High Commission, Matt Cannel, and Additional Director General (North) of FIA, Munir Masood Marath, as chief guests. They emphasized the importance of forensic expertise in combating crime and commended the FIA officers for their dedication to enhancing their investigative skills.
