Corps commander lauds ASF’s efforts to ensure foolproof security at country’s airports
Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Muhammad Avais Dastgir attended the passing out parade of the 52nd Basic Aviation Security Course and 32nd Officer Basic Aviation Security Course
The spokesman said that the passing out parade of the Basic Aviation Security Course of the Airports Security Force was held at the ASF Academy Karachi. A total of 655 new recruits, both male and female, received training in the Basic Aviation Security Course.
During the training, the recruits were not only trained in modern aviation security procedures but also underwent rigorous and physically demanding stages so that they could cope with any difficult situation.
Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Muhammad Avais Dastgir, Hilal-e-Imitaz (Military), Sitara-e-Imtiaz, attended the ceremony as the special guest. He was presented with a general salute by the parade on his arrival.
Lieutenant General Muhammad Avais Dastgir inspected the parade along with the Director General Airports Security Force Major General Adnan Asif Jah Shad. He presented awards and medals to trainees who performed exceptionally well.
Addressing the participants of the ceremony, the corps commander highly appreciated the efforts made by the Airports Security Force in ensuring foolproof security and law and order at the country’s airports. He paid tribute to the martyrs of the Airports Security Force.
At the end of the passing out ceremony, the corps commander congratulated the trainees and their parents who completed the training and expressed the hope that they would prove to be a positive addition to the manpower of the Airports Security Force.
