PARACHINAR: A man and his daughter were seriously injured in a landmine explosion in the Khapianga area in Lower Kurram tribal district on Friday.
Officials said the landmine blast occurred when Khan Muhammad, 45, and his 11-year-old daughter, Shazia, accidentally stepped on an explosive device while collecting firewood in the mountainous region.
Both victims sustained severe injuries and were immediately transported to Thall Hospital in Hangu for medical treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
