Drug addict found dead
LAHORE:A drug addict was found dead on the rooftop of a house in the Meat Market area of Naulakha on Friday.
According to police sources, the victim, a young man around 20 years of age, was found dead with his hands and feet tied with ropes. The suspect, whose identity remains unknown, repeatedly hit the victim with bricks, leading to his death on the spot. The horrific murder has sent shockwaves through the local community, raising concerns over drug abuse and violence in the area. Upon receiving information, law enforcement officials and a forensic team arrived at the crime scene. Evidence was collected, and preliminary investigations started to determine the motive behind the murder and the identity of both the victim and the perpetrator. Body was shifted to the morgue by an Edhi ambulance. Police registered a case and urged the locals to come forward with any information that could help identify the victim or aid in the arrest of the culprit.
Residents of the area expressed their concern over the rising crime rate linked to drug addiction, demanding the authorities take stronger action against drug dens and illegal substances circulating in the area.
