Malik replaces Saif as PTI KP info secretary
Barrister Saif has been relieved of his duties, while Malik Adeel has been assigned role of spokesperson
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has removed Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif from his position as provincial information secretary, appointing Malik Adeel Iqbal as the new spokesperson for the party’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter.
Following the removal of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as PTI’s KP chapter chief, newly appointed provincial president Junaid Akbar has begun reshuffling party office-bearers.
According to a PTI statement, Barrister Saif has been relieved of his duties, while Malik Adeel Iqbal has been assigned the role of spokesperson.
Additionally, Zeeshan Advocate has been appointed as deputy secretary of information.
Sources told The Jang that these internal party changes may soon be followed by adjustments in government positions.
Reports suggested that two unelected members were expected to be inducted into the provincial cabinet within the next few days, with consultations for their inclusion already finalized.
