CM to open Horse & Cattle Show tomorrow
LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will inaugurate the Horse and Cattle Show at the Fortress Stadium on February 9 (tomorrow).
The closing ceremony of the grand event will take place on February 23 at Greater Iqbal Park while the Horse and Cattle Show events will be organised at various locations of the provincial capital from February 9 to 23.
PHA DG Tahir Wattoo said that the preparations for the Horse and Cattle Show inaugural ceremony are in the final stages at the Fortress Stadium and in this regard, the workers are working day and night.
In addition to the inauguration, the Horse and Cattle Show will feature 16 different activities, including a float activity, a flower exhibition, tent pegging and mounted archery, a kabaddi match, the Rustam Punjab wrestling competition etc. PHA DG stated that in line with the vision of the Punjab government, the Horse and Cattle Show will be of international standards.
