Software technology parks equipped with digital tools
Islamabad : The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has delivered 200 Chromebooks/Digital Books (360° convertible with touchscreen) to five software technology parks (STPs) across the country.
The initiative is designed to provide entrepreneurs and students with the necessary digital tools to develop and launch ventures that will contribute to the nation’s growth, according to officials. They said the key features of the programme included empowering students and entrepreneurs by granting access to advanced technology, facilitating innovation and startup growth within the STPs, and conducting orientation sessions to train staff and students on effectively using the new digital resources.
The officials said the training was being led by the ministry's master trainers to ensure the optimal utilisation of those tools. The five Software Technology Parks that have received the new digital equipment include ICG F-6/2, ICB G-6/3, IMCG (PG) F-7/4, IMCB F-8/4, and IMCB F-10/4. The officials said networking opportunities and support from the Pakistan Software Export Board were available.
