ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will approve one of the names of senior officers of the police group in consultation with the interior ministry for the post of new Director General of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the next meeting of the federal cabinet.
The names of police officers who will be considered for the FIA DG are Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr Usman Anwar, Inspector General of Motorway Police Raja Rifat Mukhtar, Additional Secretary of the Interior Ministry Suleman Chaudhry, Federal Secretary for Human Rights AD Khawaja and senior police officer Jan Muhammad.
