Riphah University convocation held
Islamabad : The 19th convocation ceremony of Riphah International University (RIU) was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur at the Jinnah Convention Centre here, says a press release.
The event’s chief guest was Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Professor Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, while the Chancellor of Riphah International University, Dr. Hassan Muhammad Khan, and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Anis Ahmed, graced the occasion with their presence.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem. In his welcome address, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Anis Ahmed highlighted the mission of Riphah International University. He emphasised that the university was founded with the vision of providing modern education integrated with Islamic principles. He proudly shared that Riphah International University has achieved remarkable success not only within Pakistan but also internationally. He stated, “We are sending our students abroad for higher education and offer scholarships to facilitate deserving students, ensuring access to quality education. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates for their achievements today.”
Chancellor Dr. Hassan Muhammad Khan, in his address, remarked, “Today is a momentous occasion for students, parents, and teachers who have all worked tirelessly for this day. No matter the field of success, our students must strive for excellence and innovation. Technology has achieved significant milestones, and we must leverage it for progress.”
HEC Chairman Professor Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, while addressing the graduates, stated, “This is a proud moment for students and their families. Pakistan is rich in talent, and our students are second to none. To build a prosperous society, we need dedication and hard work. While technology has advanced immensely, we must also be mindful of its challenges. Students, you are our future, and the hope of this nation lies in your hands. Today is not only a celebration of your success but also a day of gratitude. I congratulate all the graduates on their achievements.”
The 19th Convocation Ceremony was a proud day for graduates, their families, and the faculty, as it marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. The event highlighted the commitment of Riphah International University to producing skilled, ethical, and globally competitive professionals who contribute to the nation’s progress.
