ISLAMABAD: Federal Ombudsperson for the Protection of Harassment Fauzia Waqar on Tuesday had an important meeting with provincial ombudsmen to discuss the implementation of the Women’s Property Rights Act, 2020.

The meeting, held at the FOSPH head office, brought together provincial ombudsmen to examine existing laws, challenges, and strategies to ensure women’s property rights are upheld.

Participants included Nabeela Haqim, Provincial Ombudsman Punjab; Rakhshanda Naz, Provincial Ombudsman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; Saira Ata, Acting Provincial Ombudsman of Balochistan; and Minthar Ali Jatoi, Consultant Provincial Ombudsman of Sindh among others.

The primary focus of the meeting was the implementation of the Women’s Property Rights Act, 2020.
