Body to probe allegations against KUST pro-VC

PESHAWAR: The Higher Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has formed a committee to probe allegations of misconduct and corruption against Prof Dr Nasiruddin, the pro-vice chancellor of the Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST).
An official communique said the inquiry committee was composed of two
officers - Shafiqur Rehman and Rahmat Ali of the Higher Education Department.
The committee will investigate the allegations and complaints against Dr Nasiruddin and is expected to submit its report within two weeks.
The university administration, faculty, and staff had submitted a white paper against Dr Nasiruddin, accusing him of document forgery to elevate himself from assistant professor to associate professor.
