Rawalpindi : The 3rd Annual Aridian Milk Fair-2025 was held at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), here on Wednesday.

The event was organised by Dairy Science Club at Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (FV&AS), PMAS-AAUR, with an aim to celebrate the dairy industry, promote local dairy products, and raise awareness about the significance of dairy in our daily lives. The event was inaugurated by PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Naeem along with Registrar Mr. Aqeel Sultan and deans/directors of the university. The event attracted over 500 attendees, comprising students, faculty, and their families. Distinguished guests included Zahid Imran, Zonal Sales Manager, Dairy Lac (Pvt) Ltd; Dr. Muhammad Bilal Ramzan, Senior Area Sales Manager, Dairy Lac (Pvt) Ltd and families of university employees visited the event and appreciated the efforts of organizers.

Networking opportunities between the university and local dairy producers were fostered, strengthening ties between the academic and business communities. Different exhibition stalls were setup by students, industry & Department of LPM while interactive games and competitions were also held on the occasion. The exhibition of various feed, medicine and dairy products were also displayed by the industry. Dairy Lac Pvt Ltd is one of the leading companies in the northern area and they displayed a comprehensive stall of their products. They also educated the community, particularly the students, about the potential of their products. Skilled professionals of the LPM department conducted live demonstrations, offering insights into the art of feeding manufacturing and milk testing.
