17 accused convicted by military court shifted to Lahore jail
Out of these, 13 belong to Lahore, three each to Rajanpur, Okara, Toba Tek Singh and one to Shangla (KP)
LAHORE: Seventeen accused, including PTI chief Imran Khan’s nephew Hasan Khan Niazi and former MPA Mian Muhammad Akram Usman, who were convicted in the May 9 incidents by a military court, were transferred to the Central Jail, Kot Lakhpat.
Out of 17 persons, 13 belong to Lahore, three each to Rajanpur, Okara, Toba Tek Singh and one to Shangla (KP). They include Azram Junaid, son of Junaid Razzak, 23, a resident of DHA Phase 8, Lahore, (6-year rigorous imprisonment); Brig (R) Javed Akram, son of Muhammad Akram, 77, Chak No. 290 GB tehsil and district Toba Tek Singh (6-year rigorous imprisonment); Hassaan Khan Niazi, son of Hafeezullah Niazi, 36, Lahore Cantt (10-year rigorous imprisonment); Group Captain (Retd) Waqas Ahmad Mohsin, son of Bashir Ahmad Mohsin, 52, resident of PAF Complex 3 Gulberg, Lahore (two-years rigorous imprisonment); Former MPA Mian Muhammad Akram Usman, son of Mian Muhammad Usman, 48, resident of Shah Jamal Road Ichhra, Lahore (2-years rigorous imprisonment); Mian Ibad Farooq, son of Mian Amanat Ali, 39, Q Block, Model Town, Lahore, (2-years rigorous imprisonment), Haider Majeed, son of Muhammad Majeed, 32, Model Town, Lahore (2-years rigorous imprisonment); Ali Raza, son of Ghulam Murtaza, 27, resident of Renala Khurd, Okara (6-year rigorous imprisonment); Sajjad Ahmed, son of Muhammad Iqbal, 40, Saddar Bazaar Lahore Cantonment (4-year rigorous imprisonment); Aamir Zohaib, son of Nazir Ahmed, 40, Irrigation Cooperative Society Lahore (4-year rigorous imprisonment); Muhammad Umair, son of Abdul Sattar, 27, resident of Kahna Nou, Lahore (6-year rigorous imprisonment); Numan Shah, son of Mahmood Ahmad Shah, 35, Saddar Bazaar, Lahore Cantonment (4-year rigorous imprisonment); Muhammad Rahim, son of Naeem Khan, 22, Gulberg 3 Lahore (6-year rigorous imprisonment); Mudassar Hafeez, son of Hafeezullah, 31, Garden Town Rajanpur (6-year rigorous imprisonment); Muhammad Arsalan, son of Muhammad Siraj, 24, Saddar Bazaar Lahore Cantonment (7-year rigorous imprisonment); Waqas Ali, son of Muhammad Ashraf, 31, Bank Stop Kumahan Road Lahore (6-year rigorous imprisonment) and Rais Ahmed, son of Shafiullah, 25, Shangla (KP).
