People throng Jilani Park to enjoy chrysanthemum show
LAHORE:People on Friday thronged the Jilani Park on the second day of the annual chrysanthemum exhibition organised by the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA).
Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yaseen attended the event along with Parliamentary Secretary Sultan Bajwa, PHA Chairman Ghazali Saleem Butt, and DG PHA Muhammad Tahir Wattoo.
Talking to reporters, the minister said the flower exhibition is a beautiful gift for the people of Punjab from Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He further stated, 'Our vision is to make Punjab beautiful with excellent cleanliness and aesthetics.'
The PHA chairman said the exhibition will continue for 10 days. The exhibition features hundreds of different varieties of chrysanthemums. The DG PHA also spoke. Additional Director Zeeshan Ranjha, Director Admin Soalat Wattoo, Director MN&O Naqeeb Arshad, and other officials also attended the event.
