On November 23, 2024, PACE College of Advanced Studies, Pakistan’s 1st entrepreneurship-focused institution, proudly hosted the Grand Finale of the 4th Junior CEO Challenge in PC Hotel Karachi.
This flagship competition brought together over 2,000 aspiring young entrepreneurs from across the country, showcasing their innovative ideas and leadership potential. The event was graced by Dr. Naveed Yousuf, CEO of the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKUEB), as the chief guest. In his keynote address, Dr. Yousuf emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial education in equipping youth with the skills to shape Pakistan’s future.
The programme also featured two engaging panel discussions: “Gen Z Leaders: Shaping the Future of Entrepreneurship” and “AI & Automation: Opportunities and Threats for Startups”. These sessions explored leadership in the digital age and how technological advancements can impact entrepreneurial ventures.
Among the highlights of the competition was the inspiring journey of Aisha Qaiser, one of the finalist from Kashmir who travelled to Karachi to compete in the top 20. Her determination and creativity exemplified the spirit of the challenge.
Winners Madiha Saleem from Habib Girls School (Category A) and Zara Areej from Bahria College Karsaz (Category B) received cash and in-kind prizes to help transform their ideas into reality. The Junior CEO Challenge, conceptualized by PACE founders Adeel Durvesh and Wazir Ahmed, continues to foster youth innovation nationwide. Ms. Huma Jabeen elegantly hosted the event as the Master of Ceremony, adding energy and professionalism to the proceedings.
The Junior CEO Challenge Finale, a prestigious event showcasing the entrepreneurial talents of young minds, was made even more impactful thanks to the generous support of its Gold Sponsors, namely Shield Pakistan, Digi-Khata and Premier Cables. These sponsors played a pivotal role in fostering innovation, leadership, and creativity among aspiring young CEOs.
