Fazl calls for transparent polls
JUI-F chief attributes unrest in country to alleged vote tampering ahead of February 2024 elections

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has underscored the need for fresh and transparent elections as the only solution to Pakistan’s ongoing political and economic instability.
Speaking here on Saturday, he attributed the unrest to alleged vote tampering ahead of the February 2024 elections. He condemned the recent Reaffirming his party’s commitment to moderate politics, Fazlur Rehman called for strengthened provincial autonomy and emphasized resolving issues through negotiation.
