CDA devises plan for beautification of Islamabad
Islamabad: Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa has directed to form a team of architects to assist to execution of beautification plan for the federal capital.
While chairing a meeting here at CDA Headquarters, the CDA chairman said decorative lights would be installed at prominent places in Islamabad on permanent directing that proper measures should also be taken for safety and security of lights.
To start with, Constitution Avenue would be decorated with such LED lights which would be cost-effective and save energy. He also asked officials concerned to present PC-1 of the project.
Moreover, a plan would also be chalked out to face-lifting of all the important buildings of the federal capital.
It was also decided during the meeting that the beautification plan would be carried out in phases on all the avenues of Islamabad. All the signboards across the city would also be repaired. A comprehensive plan for the development of F-9 Park as a creational site for residents of twin cities and tourists would also be chalked out.
