Artworks highlight HR abuse in IIO&JK
LAHORE : To mark Kashmir Black Day, a special exhibition was held at the National College of Arts (NCA) here on Friday to highlight the atrocities faced by the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIO&JK).
The exhibition showcased the struggle for self-determination and the suffering inflicted by Indian forces on Kashmiris through impactful posters and images.
NCA students created these posters, which artistically portrayed the bloodshed and human rights violations ongoing in the Kashmir Valley.
NCA’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Murtaza Jafri, remarked on the importance of the world taking notice of the hardships endured by Kashmiris and understanding their plight. He further stated that the exhibition aimed to inform the international community that the people of Kashmir are making sacrifices for their freedom, and it is our duty to amplify their voices globally.
