ISLAMABAD: India’s foreign ministry has said Foreign Miister Jai Jaishankar had an informal discussion between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar with , according to an Indian media report, citing a spokesperson of the minitry.
However, there was no talk about cricket, it added. According to the spokesperson, Jaishankar had a brief conversation with Ishaq Dar at dinner hosted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and then at lunch on Wednesday afternoon. At the lunch, Jaishankar and Ishaq Dar were sitting next to each other and both were chatting in a very pleasant manner with smiles exchanged. According to the Indian media, the spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs said that the Pakistan Protocol Division was responsible for the arrangement of seats, but according to him, no such discussions took place.
