PESHAWAR: The district administration has sealed a factory at Afridi Garhi and arrested its owners for packing counterfeit products under the labels of famous brands.
Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Saleem Akram had received information about the production of counterfeit goods in the factory in Afridi Garhi.
He had directed Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Daud Salimi to inspect the factory, where fake detergents, shampoos, hair oils, and dishwashing products were being packed under international brands.
The counterfeit items, packing materials, and machinery were confiscated on the spot, and the factory was sealed. Legal action will be taken against the arrested owner.
