MilKar Pakistan wins IT gold award

ISLAMABAD: Public welfare organisation ‘MilKar Pakistan’ has won the gold award for ‘best community service’ in the community service category of Pakistan’s largest IT and technology awards, says a press release on Saturday.
The guest of honor at the ICT Awards ceremony was Shiza Fatima Khawaja, the minister of state for information technology and telecommunication, along with several notable figures from the IT industry. This year, a total of 1,198 applications were received.
On the occasion, MilKar Impact Head Ali Saif stated that his organisation is Pakistan’s largest network of volunteers working for public welfare throughout the year.
Project Head Syed Kashf expressed commitment, saying that MilKar Pakistan will continue its work in public welfare and development.
