SUKKUR: Chaudhry Muhammad Irshad Hussain Gondal, a correspondent of Jang and Geo
News was laid to rest in Sukkur on Wednesday. He passed away in a hospital in Karachi after a protracted illness on Tuesday
A large number of journalists, members of civil society and political activists attended the funeral prayer.
He was laid to rest in Naogoth graveyard near Dakk road Sukkur. The Sukkur Union of Journalists paid rich tributes to the late journalist and announced three days of mourning.
