Two arrested for killing cousin over ‘honour’

LAHORE:Police have arrested two suspects for killing their cousin for 'honour'. Accused Ashiq and Shahbaz gunned down their 32-year-old cousin 'F' and disposed of her body in fields. The accused suspected that 'F' allegedly had illicit relationship with a man identified as Amjad. According to SSP Investigations Anoush Masood, police apprehend the suspects from Thokar Niaz Baig. During interrogation, the suspects confessed to their crime.

Human remains found

Police recovered human remains from a plot in the Sundar area. The remains were sent for post-mortem and launched an investigation into the case. A case was registered and a DNA test will be conducted to identify the body.
