PM seeks details of drone attack victims from FO
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has sought report from Foreign Office & Interior Ministry about the deceased person who was killed by US drone attack in Balochistan province and decided to call top level civil military huddle on his return from UK to review Pak US relations.
Sources told The News that PM Nawaz Sharif was likely to make telephone call to US President Barack Obama to protest on not taking into confidence the government of Pakistan before attacking high value target in Pakistan.
The PM directed the officials to find details about the deceased person? If he was supposed to Mulla Mansoor then how he managed Pakistan National identity card and passport, how he got Iran visa and how repeatedly cross the border on Pakistani passport.
The PM also directed the Foreign Secretary to take up this issue at the highest forum. Interestingly after 9/11 two high value targets of Obama administration have been not only found in Pakistan but also werekilled on the direction of President Obama. The US special forces earlier killed Osama bin Laden at Abbottabad and later Mulla Mansoor who was head of Afghan Taliban and was killed by drone attack in Balochistan province. If investigation proves as deceased was Mulla Mansoor then the government might form the commission like it did in Abbottabad incident.
