Youth urged to break free from materialism
PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief Minister on Information Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif said that the youth must break free from the confines of materialism and utilize their best abilities for the development of society
A handout said that he was speaking at a summit titled “Metrix Pakistan” which was held in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The summit was organized at the Jinnah Basic Schools and College in Mansehra.
Over 5,000 participants including Babar Saleem Swati, Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Zahid Chanzeb, Adviser to Chief Minister on Tourism and Culture and others attended the event.
Barrister Saif emphasized the importance of understanding the realities of life and contributing to the welfare of humanity. He highlighted the significance of preparing for the challenges of the artificial intelligence era. He appreciated the services of Metrix Pakistan founder and CEO Hasan Nisar in the field of Information Technology (IT).
Praising Metrix Pakistan for its initiative, Speaker Babar Saleem Swati said, “The summit is a step towards empowering the youth. I commend the efforts in bringing together the young people. Our youth is our future, and it is essential to provide them with opportunities to grow and develop. I am committed to supporting initiatives that promote youth development and entrepreneurship.”
Zahid Chanzeb exhorted parents to make their children independent and strong, saying, “Make your children capable of speaking the truth and moving forward in society. Encourage them to start small businesses and utilize digital marketing and internet resources to create employment opportunities.”
Hassan Nisar, Founder and CEO of Metrix Pakistan, said that his organization was striving to provide a platform to the young people to engage with leaders, innovators and change-makers.
