LCWU History Museum dedicated to Maryam Nawaz
LAHORE : Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has dedicated its history museum to renowned alumnus Maryam Nawaz.
Vice Chancellor Dr Shagufta Naz said that women who graduated from LCWU have proved their abilities in various fields of life, but in politics, Maryam Nawaz achieved significant success and became the Chief Minister of the largest province.
She said that on the centenary celebrations of Lahore College for Women University, a history museum was established in which bio-data of prominent alumni and antiquities related to the institution were collected. Acknowledging Maryam Nawaz's highest status among the alumni, the History Museum is dedicated to her.
The Vice Chancellor said that the chief minister has been formally invited to visit her alma mater and inspect the History Museum.
