BYD announces brand launch in Pakistan with Mega Motor Co
KARACHI: Global new energy vehicle (NEV) giant BYD is set to make its grand entry into the Pakistani market on August 17, in partnership with Mega Motor Company, a subsidiary of Hub Power Company Limited (Hubco), stated a press release on Monday.
Billboards across major metropolitan cities in the country hint at the formal launch of BYD. The collaboration aims to introduce a range of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, marking a significant step towards Pakistan’s transition to sustainable transportation.
This milestone venture is expected to redefine Pakistan’s automotive landscape, providing cutting-edge NEV solutions to a market eager for sustainable and energy-efficient transportation options.
BYD is renowned for its pioneering work in new energy electric vehicle production, having surpassed global competitors in 2022 and 2023 to become the leading seller of new energy vehicles.
