PCB official visits DineticQ in Loughborough
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Director High Performance Center Nadeem Khan visited DineticQ -- a biomechanics lab at the England and Wales Cricket Board High Performance Centre in Loughborough.
The visit marked a significant step towards enhancing the training and development of Pakistan’s fast bowlers focusing on injury prevention and performance improvement. During his visit, Nadeem met with key figures at DineticQ, including Professor Mark King, founder of DineticQ, Laurence Blair, CEO and Ali Ehsan, Founder of Socho Cricket. The discussions focused on the specialised services DineticQ offers to the fast bowlers and developing skills of the fast bowling coaches through specialised biomechanics courses.
“The collaboration with DineticQ represents a significant enhancement in our approach to player development and performance optimization,” said Nadeem Khan. “By integrating advanced biomechanical insights into our training programs, we can further elevate the capabilities of our fast bowlers and the coaches.”
DineticQ, known for its cutting-edge approach to sports science and athlete performance, offers a bespoke Athlete Management Programme in the ICC approved biomechanics laboratory. The services discussed include tailored training regimes and biomechanical assessments and AI, specifically designed for fast bowlers, aiming to enhance their efficiency and reduce injury risks. The visit underscored PCB’s commitment to adopting innovative and scientific methods to advance the skillset of Pakistan cricketers.
