The Keamari Investigation police on Tuesday claimed to have safely recovered two abducted teenage sisters and arrested a cleric involved in their kidnapping.
SSP Faizan Ali of the Keamari police praised the Shershah police for solving the case of the kidnapping of the two sisters who lived on Jina Road in Shershah. Both the sisters were abducted by a teacher who came to their house for teaching.
The SSP said the two sisters had been missing for four days and on the complaint of their maternal uncle, a case of kidnapping was registered at the Shershah police station. On Tuesday morning, Shershah SHO Sub-Inspector Adeel Ahmed, Pak Colony SDPO Tabish Ali Shah and other cops rescued the two abducted sisters from the Baghdadi area in Lyari.
Investigations revealed that both the sisters lived with their aunt in Shershah and the suspect, Qari Kalimullah, used to come to the house to teach them. The two sisters were rescued from the house of Kalimullah who had lured the sisters and took them to his house. The suspect was also arrested in the police operation. Further investigations are under way.
