PESHAWAR: A local Christian woman has appealed to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Khan to help her in registering the first information report and taking action against her rivals for attacking their house and harassing the family members.
Fauzia Victor, a resident of Hassangarhi in Peshawar, told reporters that her son Tausheeb was working in a salon run by one Habibullah in a rented shop owned by Sami and Farooq.
She said that the owners of shop Sami and Farooq and the tenant hairdresser Habibullah and his brother Khalid had a scuffle over some issue in which her son Tausheeb also sustained injuries.
The complainant alleged that later the rivals stormed their house and beat up her husband Victor.Besides harassing the family members, she said the attackers also aimed a pistol at her husband and threatened him of dire consequences.
She said that she reported the incident to the Bashirabad Police Post but the cops on duty neither registered FIR nor took any action against the accused despite passage of a week since the incident occurred.
