Students honoured
LAHORE : The University of Management and Technology (UMT) hosted its Rector's Merit Award Ceremony under the Office of Controller Examination, in which 337 students of BS and MS degree programmes from 18 schools were honoured with the Rector Merit Awards.
According to a press release, the ceremony was attended by UMT Rector Dr Asif Raza, Sajjad Ahmed, other officials as well as deans, directors, students, and their parents.
In his address, Dr Asif Raza congratulated the students, their parents, and teachers on their achievement.
Sajjad Ahmed, CEO of Sagacious Group, extended his congratulations to the award recipients, their families, and teachers. He emphasised the role of academia in preparing students for real-world challenges beyond education. He advised the students that success was possible only through hard work, so work hard and bring glory to your parents, teachers and country.
