SMBR for timely completion of Data Darbar expansion project
LAHORE: An important meeting was held here Friday to discuss the reconstruction of the shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh.
The meeting was chaired by Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabil Javed. Additional Secretary of Auqaf Department, director project, Nespak GM, and Data Darbar Khatib participated in the meeting.
The GM Nespak briefed the meeting on the progress of the project. He said that the work on the project would be completed by June 30, 2025. SMBR Nabil Javed issued instructions to complete the project within the stipulated time, adding the expansion project of Data Darbar was very important. During the construction, all accessories should be taken care of politely and respectfully, he added.
The SMBR said, during the construction work, all measures should be ensured for the safety and convenience of the workers, as well as visitors. There would be no compromise on the quality of construction materials. Strict action would be taken in case of negligence or irresponsibility, he concluded.
‘BoR performance improved in 100 days’
Board of Revenue crossed important milestones in 100 days of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz leadership. In a statement here Friday, SMBR Nabil Javed said that Board of Revenue Punjab was striving for public service with new leadership, new vision. SMBR Nabil Javed said that the Board of Revenue took revolutionary steps in the first 100 days of the new government.
The system of buying and selling property for overseas Pakistanis will be implemented soon. The work on providing land for the project of Chief Minister ‘Apna Chhat Apna Ghar’ is going on rapidly. Fees levied on distribution of joint accounts have been abolished. Land records of owners are being preserved by linking with digital maps. People have been made aware about this by making rural centres malls active. Land facility centres are being reorganised across the province. The finance department has digitised the journal system. Work on the Revenue Court Management System is in progress. Digitisation of subjects across Punjab is going on under Plus Project. By digitising land records, facilities are being created for the general public. The records of the subjects which could not be digitised are being computerised.
Nabil Javed further informed that a one-window operation was started for the acquisition of individual which is being improved day by day. E-stamping facility has been provided which will save the time of applicants.
