Posts of VCs at 25 public sector varsities advertised

LAHORE : Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab on Saturday advertised the posts of vice-chancellors (VCs) of 25 different public sector universities falling under the purview of the department.

As per the advertisement, the application, complete in all respects and supported with all documents, must reach the Higher Education Department not later than June 24, 2024 before close of office hours.

According to the basic criteria, the applicant should not be more than sixty-five (65) years of age on the last date fixed for the submission of applications, have earned a PhD degree from an HEC recognised or Unesco listed Institution, have experience in a senior academic, research or management leadership position and possess a distinguished research and publications record.

These universities include: University of the Punjab, Lahore, Government College University, Lahore, Government College University, Faisalabad, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Islamia University of Bahawalpur, University of Gujrat, University of Education, Lahore, University of Narowal, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, University of Kamalia, University of Layyah, Thal University Bhakkar, University of Okara, University of Jhang, Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan, Information Technology University of the Punjab, Lahore, Government College Women University, Sialkot, Government Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, Government College Women University, Faisalabad, Lahore College for Women University, Lahore (women applicants only), Women University, Multan (women applicants only) and the University of Home Economics, Lahore (women applicants only).
