Askari Bank president resigns

Askari Bank announced on Friday that its president and chief executive Atif R Bokhari has resigned. In a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the bank said: “We have to inform that Mr Atif R Bokhari, president and chief executive officer of Askari Bank Limited has resigned and accordingly ceased to be the president and chief executive officer of the bank wef May 31, 2024.”
The bank further informed that “Mr Saleem Anwar has been appointed as acting president and chief executive officer of the bank.”Bokhari was appointed in 2021 for a term of three years starting September 1, 2021.
