ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Sarfraz Durrani as Managing Director (MD) of the Pakistan Agricultural Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO).
A BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Sarfraz Durrani is currently serving as Additional Secretary at Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Division. The Establishment Division (ED) has issued a notification regarding two years extension in deputation of Amir Fayyaz, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PAAS) at the National School of Public Policy. A BS-19 officer of the Secretariat Group, Saima Bibi, who was waiting for posting, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary Cabinet Division.
Meanwhile, two more BS-20 officers have been nominated for National Security and War Course which is mandatory for promotion to BS-21. Two BS-20 officers of Inland Revenue Service including Director Law Karachi Dr. Tariq Ghani and Commissioner Inland Revenue Appeal three Rawalpindi are the new nominees for the course.
