RAWALPINDI: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) interrogated Shah Mahmood Qureshi in connection with the May 9 cases, Saturday, the jail sources said.
The sources said that the members of Lahore-based JIT arrived at Adiala jail on Saturday morning and kept questioning Shah Mehmood Qureshi for over three hours, adding that the JIT officials engaged in the investigation provided a questioner. The 5-member team, led by SP Shahzad, included DSP Muhammad Usman, Inspector Malik, Inspector Muhammad Aleem, and Inspector Nadeem. The JIT members remained with the PTI leader and asked relevant queries regarding the case, the sources concluded.
