Sindh govt to bear expenses for treatment of injured journalist, says Sharjeel
Nasrullah Gadani, a local journalist from Ghotki who was injured in an armed attack the other day, has been transferred to the Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi by an air ambulance from Rahim Yar Khan in Punjab through efforts of Sindh Senior Minister for Information, Transport, Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Sharjeel Inam Memon.
Memon said the Sindh chief minister had already announced that all expenses on the treatment of the injured journalist would be borne by the Sindh government. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured journalist.
The provincial government has sent a letter to the Agha Khan Hospital for the treatment of Gadani. The letter states that the Sindh government would bear all the expenses for the treatment of the injured journalist, therefore, the treatment bills should be sent to the provincial government.
