Imran demands property leaks money trail: Gohar
He said different political and legal issues came under discussion with Imran Khan during the meeting
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan Tuesday said that the founder of PTI has demanded a money trail from those involved in Dubai Leaks.
Quoting the founder chairman Imran Khan, whom he met in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Chairman Gohar Khan has said that the PTI founder while commenting on the PM’s statement demanding people to sacrifice, has said that this time around the Sharif brothers and Asif Zardari should sacrifice besides providing their money trail. He said different political and legal issues came under discussion with Imran Khan during the meeting.
Talking to the media outside the Jail, the PTI chairman said that the founding chairman has opposed and rejected the defamation law passed by the Punjab Assembly. Gohar also alleged that the ‘government of Form 47’ now wanted to gag the people’s voice with the defamation law. Chairman PTI said that they will hold a public meeting in Islamabad on June 8 for which an application had been moved for permission. About the Tyrian case, Gohar Khan termed the Islamabad High Court’s decision to dismiss it as a good decision. “If decisions are taken soon, the founder of PTI will be out soon,” he expressed the hope.
Regarding the recent by-election in Multan, Gohar said that the Election Commission of Pakistan once again failed to ensure a free and fair election in the NA 148 by-election.
