ISLAMABAD: Australian volleyball squad is due to arrive on May 26 to play a three-match Test series against Pakistan.
The series will be the first ever between the two teams. Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Yaqoob has confirmed Australia team’s arrival following his Monday’s talk with the Australian Volleyball Federation (AVF) officials.
The AVF floated the idea of playing the three-match series against Pakistan ahead of the Challenge Cup in Bahrain. The PVF gleefully accepted the invitations. “All the arrangements to hold the event in a befitting manner have been finalized that also includes security measures,” he said.
