SYS to develop APAC banks
LAHORE: Systems Limited has signed an agreement with Temenos to license and develop Country Model Banks for financial institutions in five Asia-Pacific (APAC) countries, a statement said on Monday.
The deal aims to enhance the functionality and service capability of banks in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Brunei, tailoring to their local market needs.Systems Limited will invest in developing localized functionality, leveraging its expertise in banking technology and experience in deploying Temenos platforms.
Temenos Country Model Banks offer pre-configured banking models that can be deployed rapidly, reducing costs and risks. The models integrate with Temenos' composable platform and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
The agreement expands Temenos' reach and scalability, with Systems Limited developing new model banks for the five markets.The collaboration builds on the 23-year relationship between Systems Limited and Temenos, with Systems Limited delivering over 127 successful transformations globally.Systems Limited was recently recognized as Temenos MEA Delivery Partner of the Year 2023, showcasing its success in delivering world-class transformations.
