Four terrorists killed in Quetta gunbattle with police

QUETTA: Four terrorists of banned organisation TTP were killed in a retaliatory action of police and CTD on the Eastern Bypass, Sibi Road, on Saturday. These terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces, police and Levies.
According to CTD sources, officials of New Saryab Police Station were on a routine patrol on the Eastern Bypass in a police mobile. When they reached the Sibi Road, four terrorists on two motorcycles started firing at the mobile. The policemen retaliated, killing a terrorist on the spot. The three other terrorists entered a building in Kili Zareen. The police chased the terrorists and surrounded the building. A contingent of CTD and police was called after surrounding the area.
Seeing the heavy presence of police, the terrorists started firing fiercely. In the exchange of fire, the three terrorists were killed. Weapons, grenades, explosives and motorcycles of terrorists were taken into custody.
The sources said that the killed terrorists belonged to the banned organization Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan. They were involved in attacks on security forces, police and levies. The bodies of the terrorists were later sent to hospital.
